Regulations for Article Submission

Article 1 (Title) These regulations shall be referred to as the “Submission Regulations for the Asian Qualitative Inquiry Journal.”

Article 2 (Purpose) The purpose of these regulations is to define the procedures for submitting papers to the "Asian Qualitative Inquiry Journal," an academic journal published by the Asian Qualitative Inquiry Association, and to regulate related tasks.

Article 3 (Copyright) The copyright of papers and other works published in the "Asian Qualitative Inquiry Journal" shall be owned by our association. Copyright includes the right to reproduce and transmit digitally. However, if the author of a published paper wishes to use their work, the association will generally grant permission unless there are special circumstances.

Article 4 (Nature and Submission Restrictions of Papers) The "Asian Qualitative Inquiry Journal" of this research institute contains original research papers related to qualitative research in Asia.

4.1 Papers must not have been published in other academic journals.

4.2 Submission of two single-author papers in the same issue is not allowed. However, submitting one single-author paper and one co-authored paper is permissible (submission of two co-authored papers is allowed).

4.3 If a submitted paper is found to be plagiarized, the author will be prohibited from submitting papers to this journal for five years.

Article 5 (Publication Frequency and Dates) The journal is published twice a year. The publication dates are June 30 and December 31 each year.

Article 6 (Submission Deadlines) Manuscripts are accepted on a rolling basis.

Article 7 (Submission Eligibility) The eligibility for submitting manuscripts is generally limited to the members of our association. However, authors who are academically aligned with the aims of our association with research outcomes may be allowed to submit their manuscripts.

Article 8 (Manuscript Length) The manuscript length should be approximately 15-20 pages, including references.

Article 9 (Manuscript Submission) Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal's email (aqijjournal@gmail.com).

Article 10 (Manuscript Preparation) All manuscripts must be submitted according to the manuscript formatting guidelines (APA 6^th Edition).

10.1 The paper title, abstract, keywords, and author information (at the time of final publication) must be written in English only. The English abstract should be 150 to 250 words in length, outlining the main contents of the paper, and attach it to the first page of the paper. The author needs to specify 4-5 key words at the end of the abstract.

10.2 The corresponding author should be listed on the first page with email contact information. The author information such as the position and affiliation should be placed just behind the references. The research acknowledgement can also be mentioned.

10.3 Figures should be high quality and supplied in the text as one of file formats JPEG, TIFF etc.

10.4 Tables should present new information rather than duplicating what is in the text.

Article 11 (Book Review Manuscript) Book reviews that introduce books dealing with topics in the field of qualitative research are, in principle, published as irregular papers after review by one person.

1. These rules are enforced starting January 1, 2022.

제1조 (명칭)

이 규정은 ｢Asian Qualitative Inquiry Journal｣ 논문투고 규정이라 한다.

제2조(목적)

이 규정은 아시아질적탐구학회(Asian Qualitative Inquiry Association)에서 간행하는 학술지인 ｢Asian Qualitative Inquiry Journal｣에 게재할 논문의 투고에 관한 절차를 정하고 관련 업무를 규정하는 것을 목적으로 한다.

제3조 (저작권)

학술지인 ｢Asian Qualitative Inquiry Journal｣에 게재된 논문 등의 저작권은 우리 학회가 소유한다. 저작권에는 디지털로의 복제권 및 전송권을 포함한다. 다만, 게재된 논문 등의 필자가 본인의 논문 등을 사용할 경우에는 학회는 특별한 사정이 없는 한 이를 승인한다.

제4조 (논문의 성격 및 투고 제한)

본 연구소의 학술지인 ｢Asian Qualitative Inquiry Journal｣은 아시아 질적연구에 관련된 독창적 연구논문을 수록한다.

① 논문은 다른 학술지에 발표되지 않은 것이어야 한다.

② 같은 호에는 단독 2편의 논문투고는 불가하다. 다만, 단독 1편 및 공동연구자포함 1편은 가능하다. (공동연구를 포함한 논문 2편의 투고는 가능하다).

③ 투고 논문이 표절한 논문으로 판명될 경우, 향후 5년간 본 학술지에 논문을 투고할 수 없도록 한다.

제5조 (발행 횟수 및 시기)

학술지 발행횟수는 연 2회로 한다. 발행시기는 매년 6월 30과 12월 31일로 한다.

제6조 (투고 시한)

원고를 상시 모집한다.

제7조 (투고 자격)

원고의 투고 자격은 우리 학회 회원을 원칙으로 하되, 학문적으로 우리 학회의 취지에 부합하고 연구 성과가 있는 경우에 투고할 수 있도록 한다.

제8조 (원고 분량)

원고의 분량은 참고문헌을 포함하여 15-20쪽 내외를 원칙으로 한다.

제9조 (원고 제출)

투고 원고는 학술지 이메일(aqijjournal@gmail.com)로 제출한다.

제10조 (원고 작성 방식)

모든 원고는 우리 학술지가 정한 원고 작성 방식(APA 6판 양식)에 따라 투고되어야 한다.

10.1 논문 제목, 초록, 키워드, 저자 정보(최종 출판 당시)는 반드시 영문으로만 작성해야 한다. 영문초록은 논문의 주요 내용을 요약한 150~250 단어로 작성하며, 논문 첫 장에 첨부한다. 저자는 초록 끝 부분에 4~5개의 핵심 단어를 명시해야 한다.

10.2 교신저자는 이메일 연락처 정보와 함께 첫 페이지에 기재되어야 한다. 직위, 소속 등 저자 정보는 참고문헌 바로 뒤에 배치해야 하며 연구 인정 관련 사사 부분도 표기할 수 있다.

10.3 그림은 고품질이어야 하며 JPEG, TIFF 등의 파일 형식 중 하나로 본문에 제공되어야 한다.

10.4 표는 본문 내용을 복제하기보다는 새로운 정보를 제시해야 한다.

제11조 (북리뷰 원고)

질적연구 분야의 주제를 다룬 단행본을 소개하는 북리뷰는 1인 심사를 거쳐 비정규 논문으로 개재하는 것을 원칙으로 한다.
